"The Home" was a group show from the Shop Front residency with Hypha Studios. "The Home" explores what it means to call a place home - how it shapes us, and how we shape it in return. Moving beyond a fixed location, home is approached as an emotional and psychological space: one of safety, comfort, and belonging, but also of isolation and constraint. Rooted in memory and constructed through personal and cultural experience, home is fluid and often unstable. It can be a site of intimacy and care, but also shaped by displacement, migration, and housing insecurity. For some, it remains an aspiration - something longed for but not easily reached.
